TK Simper

Having led a life that has been fully immersed in music, it comes as no surprise that 95% of TK Simper's life force lies in tandem with the essence of good old country. Now, after dedicating years of his life raising a beautiful family, it is now time for TK's musical dream to become his reality.

Growing up in Utah, his days were spent hunting, fishing, four wheeling, playing sports and raising hell with brothers and friends. While deriving inspiration from his surroundings, he also drew an incredible amount of influence from American Country singer-songwriter, Chris LeDoux. His songs about his surrounding towns and Western skies drew TK to watch him perform whenever he could, and remains as a pivotal influence until this day.

His passion for music was never in doubt, but as is the case with so many, life took over and work became TK's focus. The next 25 years were spent building an extremely successful Construction Engineering Company with his wife, Angela. The greatest source of their joy and happiness came as a gift in the form of their two beloved children, Colton and Madison. Music further acted as a binding tie for the family, as they sang along to artists such as Jim Croce and the Steve Miller Band.

Throughout all of this, TK Simper remained true to his Country music roots. A combination of Outlaw Country and heartfelt ballads were written and sung, however, many of his greatest songs will sadly never be heard, mainly because they were written on hamburger wrappers and eaten by his dog.

It was the life-altering and utterly heart-shattering loss of his brother, Troy, alongside the death of two of his best friends that acted as somewhat of a wake-up call. It was here where it dawned upon TK that there was more to life than work.

With a sincerely natural quality to his voice, he is now ready to capture the hearts of those who listen to his captivating productions. His outlaw Country style, infused with an island Mexico feel began to earn himself his first live shows whilst he simultaneously worked in the studio with a host of talented musicians from Nashville. His music paints the picture of his experiences or those of people around him, with every production he makes being a TK Simper original, proudly filled with love, pain and a generous helping of whisky.

His next single, 'Free & Alive', is set to be released in December this year. Fans will be glad to know that there is more to follow. TK has used his time in quarantine wisely, spending countless hours on his next CD, 'Vacation’. Set for release in the fall of 2021, the piece of work is a perfect encapsulation of his heartfelt and authentic Country sound.
